Mr. Everson is President of DigitalShipper, a logistics automation software company specializing in the development of carrier compliant shipping execution software for automating the processing of small parcel and LTL shipments.
DigitalShipper customers are distribution companies, wholesale companies, and manufacturing companies who need to quickly and efficiently process their outbound orders to their customers using the quickest small parcel/LTL carrier service at the least possible cost.
Mr. Everson’s 14 years in management with United Parcel Service and 25 plus years in the small parcel/LTL industry brings a vast resource of knowledge and experience to the logistics automation field. Since 1988 Mr. Everson has been involved in shipping execution processes from the evolution of digital scale based manifest systems to the emergence of fully integrated server based solutions for small parcel shipping. Mr. Everson has done extensive consulting work for many of the national and regional small package carriers and has conducted many training seminars for their Sales and Account Executives. He has also been an instructor at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, teaching classes in Advanced Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Mr. Everson attended Bethel College, the University of Minnesota and St. Thomas College in St Paul, MN and is currently working on his Masters in Supply Chain Technology and Systems Integration.
